Chief Instructor - Dato' P'ng Chye Khim
Dato' P'ng Chye Khim holds a position as the Chief Instructor of Penang Sao Lim Athletic Association for more than 40 years. He under go the training of Southern Shao Lin styles from Patriarch Sik Koh Sum, founder of the association at Siang Kheng Si temple which located at Perak Road of Penang island in year 1955.
Master P'ng trained and study this Southern Shao Lin styles seriously, he was honoured as the Chief Instructor by Great Grand Master Sik Koh Sum. Under his able leadership, he has groomed over 50 instructors and has assosicate organizations in Switzerland, America, Ireland and France with more than 5,000 students.

Being well known, Master P'ng likes to keep himself low in profile and open minded to share his knowledge of Southern Shao Lin martial arts with others. Good in both theoractical and application of the art, he makes sure the students understand well during training and explain the application in each steps of the routine forms. He has been always famous with his iron palm, iron shirt and open hand techniques just to name a few.
Together with the late Donn F. Draegar Sensei, Master P'ng had co-authored in publishing a book titled "Shao Lin - An Introduction to Lohan fighting Techniques". The first printing of this book was in 1979 following by second printing in the year 1984.
Besides martial arts, Master P'ng is also a Chinese Physician and Acupuncturist by profession. He was honoured with DSPN, AMN, AMP, PJK and PJM by the Penang State Government.
